Helping to keep relationships safe, thanks to a PCC-funded project

A PCC-funded workshop is helping autistic and neurodivergent young people understand and navigate the risks of unsafe relationships. 

Daisy Chain has been running Stronger Voices’ workshops across Stockton and Billingham. 

Funding of £15,000  from Cleveland Police and Crime Commissioner’s  Protect and Support Fund  enabled sessions to take place.

Workshops and sessions look at unsafe relationships, online safety, exploitation and risk-taking behaviours. 

At the end of the nine-month project, all material produced during Stronger Voices will be available online for parents, children and young people and schools and holiday clubs.

Material will let schools deliver their own sessions as well as gives parents and young people details of what to do and where to go if they think they may need help.
